Henry has a wonderful imagination. He pretends to be a kitten that crawls around and meows. He stops crawling so I scratch his head and then continues on his way.
He pretends to make meals for us when we are outside playing. He'll fill his buckets full of dirt, carry them to me and say "eat, mama, eat". We both sit and pretend to eat. He's also likes making green french fries and noodles with his Playdough.
He pretends to catch fish by tossing his blanket over the baby gate while still holding onto one end. He catches a fish and tells me its color. Henry gallops like the horse, swings like the monkey, flies like the birds, and crawls like the cat.
Henry loves to eat letter cookies from Trader Joe's. He finds the Ms and gives them to me for Mama and finds the Ds and gives them to Dada. Henry likes to surprise us. He will run from a room and wait for me to come find him. When I see him standing somewhere new he gets the biggest grin and yells "prise". Or he'll toss his blanket over his head and sit still while we ask if anyone has seen Henry. He'll stay still for over a minute! Peek a book, guess who, and catch me are other games that he likes to play.
He likes to take turns when we read books that have moving parts. He'll say "Hen tur" or "mama tur".
When Henry takes his nap he'll often fall asleep completely covered by his blankets. The other day I went in to lift the blanket and give him some air. I moved his pillow under his head and in his sweet sleepy voice, he said "tan ta" (thank you). Henry does have very good manners and often says please, thank you, and "scuse" me throughout the day.
He weighs 28 pounds and says "rock roll, baby" instead of just "rock roll".
We love you, Henry!
