Happy 20 months, dear Henry! Where has the time gone?
It's amazing how much Henry has changed over the course of the summer.
Henry:
~ no longer enjoys bath time. He got very upset when the water coming out of the faucet touched his rubber duck and cup. Even after the water is turned off, he wants nothing to do with getting into the tub. So we are quick in, fast scrubbing and quick out.
~ loves hanging out in his wading pool. He likes to have the hose on and he's discovered that it's fun to wave the hose around and get others wet. He thinks this is hilarious.
~ still makes sure that everyone has their seatbelts fastened in the car before we start moving.
~ likes to tell me where to sit or what to do in a somewhat directive manner (he says Mama and then points to the chair or tv or bed or book)
~ will say "no" very clearly.
~ climbs into his high chair without any help.
~ is very attached to his mama and will often look for me throughout the day, even when I'm with him.
~ is talking all the time. More words are easier to understand now than before.
~ has developed a taste for cookies since spending more time with Grandma and Grandpa this summer.
